Newberry Festival
This message is for all fans, family sponsors and supporters of The Newberry Event Music Festival to defeat MS. It is with sadness we announce that, for a number of reasons, including health concerns, financial considerations, and venue improvements needed, the 2022 Newberry Event scheduled for July 29 and 30, is officially cancelled.
Balloons Over Bend, Night Glow and Children’s Festival
Balloons Over Bend will be a weekend to remember with balloon launches each day at dawn. Head down to the Night Glow for an evening of music, food, marketplace and glow-in-the-dark balloons. Take the kids to the Balloon Blast race for a chance to stack up some points in our Kid’s Rock the Races series!
Deschutes County Fair
The Deschutes County Fair in Redmond returns August 2 – 6, 2023. The Deschutes County Fair offers lots of great family-friendly entertainment including 4-H farm animals, Family-Fun Zone and carnival rides. Rodeo performances are free with admission on a first come first serve basis. Stroll through the barns and see the goats, pigs and bunnies and many more animals raised by local kids.

Sunriver Music Festival
This classical music festival returns in August 2023 for the 46th season with performances in Sunriver and Bend. Visit Sunriver Music Festival for tickets and more information.
NorthWest Crossing Munch & Movies
Munch & Movies runs Friday nights August 18-September 1 at Compass Park. Live music by local musicians starts at 6pm and movies will begin at dusk. Enjoy dinner and dessert from nearby restaurants onsite. Free films on the big screen range from classic horror, unsurpassed comedy, moving drama and exciting action. Bring a low back chair and a blanket.

Shakespeare in the Park presents Titus Andronicus on August 18-19 in Drake Park.
Art in the High Desert
Art in the High Desert—over 110 nationally acclaimed visual artists—in the Old Mill District on August 25-27. Art in the High Desert is a signature annual event in Central Oregon’s thriving art scene. Mingle with fellow art lovers among booths of original arts and crafts.Get to know the artists showcasing mixed media, photography, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, glass, printmaking, wood, fiber art, drawing and more.
Little Woody Barrel Aged Beer & Whiskey Festival
The Little Woody takes place next to the Deschutes Historical Museum in downtown Bend on September 1-2.
Sisters Folk Festival
The Sisters Folk Festival is a celebration of American music from blues to bluegrass. The Festival runs September 8-10 in downtown Sisters and covers seven stages with performances by internationally recognized artists and the best of up-and-coming talent in folk, blues, bluegrass, and all genres in between. A unique and intimate setting for fantastic music.

BendFilm
Check back for BendFilm 2023 dates. A celebration of independent film at numerous locations in Bend including Regal Cinemas, Tower Theatre, McMenamin’s Old St. Francis, Oxford Hotel, Volcanic Theatre Pub and Tin Pan Theater.
Bend Venture Conference
Bend Venture Conference is the largest angel conference in the Pacific Northwest and is known for connecting early stage companies and entrepreneurs with investment and mentors. Hosted by Economic Development of Central Oregon on October 20-21, 2022, this annual event includes attendees, investors and companies with the possibility of one million in investments and services awarded to multiple companies.
Bend Design Conference
Bend Design Conference is a series of conversations, workshops, tours and exhibits by and for creative innovators everywhere. Bend Design Conference by Scalehouse happening October 11-14, 2022 for creative thinkers, innovators and disrupters everywhere.
Bend Design Conference is evolving beyond the lecture format to an interactive dialogue to inspiring and equipping future creative leaders. Attendees can expect to further the ideas they came with, make connections with new mentors and co-conspirators, and emerge ready to design the future. A conference for all of us curious about how design can interpret, connect and shape our world.

Sunriver Resort is hosting a free summer concert series on Thursday-Saturday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm.
Twilight Cinema Sunriver Style
An outdoor movie series that runs August- September with festivities starting at 6:30pm and free family friendly movies begin at dusk. Movie location alternates between The Village at Sunriver and SHARC.
Elk Lake Resort
Concert series the deck by the Elk Lake Resort on Saturday evenings from June-September from 5-8pm.

Muse Women’s Conference
The annual Muse Women’s Conference (in early March) brings together local women & teens with internationally recognized artists, authors, athletes, entrepreneurs, activists, and social change leaders to celebrate International Women’s Day and kick-off Women’s History Month.
This four-day event will include a Film Series, Salon Series, Art Show, Community Yoga Class, Meetups, Art as Activism workshop and our main conference day program.
Jazz at the Oxford
The annual Jazz at the Oxford series runs October -March. An amazing collection of jazz musicians coming to the Oxford Hotel next season.

Caldera Open Studios
Caldera’s Artist Open Studios offers an opportunity to meet professional visual, literary and performing artists selected for month-long residencies from Kentucky, California, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Washington, New York and Coquitlam, British Colombia.
Many 2017 Artists in Residents will share their work through workshops and presentations to Caldera youth in Bend, Redmond, Warm Springs, Madras, Sisters, Terrebonne and Portland. Caldera is located past Sisters, Saturdays from 1-3pm.
Fathom Events
Fathom Events brings the best in one-night and limited-run events to Regal Cinemas throughout the year. National and international productions this holiday season include several ballet performances. The Bolshoi Ballet presents Sunday matinees captured the same day from Moscow. Bolshio Ballet simulcast returns in Fall 2017.
