Annual craft beer festival returns May 13-14, 2022

Last updated 2.9.22

After a two-year hiatus, the Bend Brewfest returns this spring and will be held in the Old Mill District for two days, May 13-14, 2022.

The second-largest craft beer festival in all of Oregon, this spring’s version will be a more intimate affair on the east side of the Deschutes River within the open spaces of the Old Mill District from noon to 9 p.m. each day. More than 100 beers from 65-plus breweries and cider houses will be featured, a showcase of some of the most innovative and creative craft beverage creatives in the entire Pacific Northwest.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, at BendBrewfest.com. The 2022 Bend Brewfest will have a limited capacity and pre-sale tickets are available while supplies last. Tickets for this year’s Bend Brewfest will be sold both in advance and at the gate for $40 each. Tasting packages include admission to the Brewfest and 10 tasting tokens.

Proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test are not required to attend Brewfest.

“It would be impossible for us to express just how thrilled we are to have Bend Brewfest back on our schedule for 2022,” said Beau Eastes, marketing director at the Old Mill District. “This is an event people typically circle on their calendars, and while we moved it across the river and bumped it up from its traditional August date, we plan to deliver the same high-quality event people have come to expect.”

This includes bringing back Bend Brewfest’s vaunted X-Tap, which will include a wide selection of high-end, specialty and experimental beer available for scheduled tastings. Cider and wine options will also be available, as will food, vendors, and music from live DJs.

Bend Brewfest is a collaboration between the Old Mill District and the Hayden Homes Amphitheater with support from the Bend Cultural Tourism Fund. Organizers say they plan to continue hosting Bend Brewfest in May after this year. The change in location, however – an adjustment caused by planned construction at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater – will be reevaluated after this year’s event.

Set in the heart of one of the nation’s most influential craft brew communities, the Bend Brewfest serves as the perfect trailhead for adventurous beer lovers. Monkless, GoodLife, Crux, Deschutes, Sunriver, Bend Brewing, Immersion, Avid Cider and other breweries and cider houses are all within walking distance of the Bend Brewfest. Bend is also home to the Bend Ale Trail, the largest beer trail in the West, and stellar tap rooms like the Broken Top Bottle Shop and the White Water Taphouse.

We think it’s fair to say that fantastically hoppy things come for those that wait. We’ll see you soon!
