Find your bliss at the Bend Brewfest
Free Admission and four full days of an astonishing array of craft beer, wine and cider? Yes! The countdown is on to the 13th annual Bend Brewfest and we can barely contain our glee.
The Bend Brewfest will return Thursday August 13th – Saturday August 15th from Noon – 11pm everyday. This year we’re also offering 25% more goodness by extending the fun to Sunday, August 16th from noon – 8pm. A one-time purchase of a 2015 souvenir mug will get you on your way to indulging your curiosity and tickling your tastebuds’ fancy.
We’ll have more than 70 Breweries pouring 170+ beer offerings for the drinking delight of everyone over age 21. Perennial favorites and new school brewers alike will break out their flagship offerings. And, as every Brewfest veteran knows, you will not want to miss the xtap offerings which feature low-volume, seasonal specialties and experimental beers. Cider Row spotlights 16 ciders, mead and a rotating tap. And for lovers of the grape, Willamette Valley Vineyards will be pouring their delicious wine varietals.
Now in the works is the Bend Brewfest Guide, which lists all of the beverages that are going to be available, a layout of the festival, interesting articles, spotlights on local beer related happenings and people. The Brewfest Guide will be available in the Bulletin on Friday, August 7th.
Complementing all of the malt, yeast, hop and barley bliss will be a variety of food carts. This year you’ll find The Pizza Cart, Island Noodles, Broken Top Bottle Shop, Curry, Crepes, BBQ, and Cuppa Yo just to name a few. Check out the full food vendor list here.
You’ll also want to peruse the new Bend Brewfest tees/tanks and sweatshirts, with Hop Stag, American Spirit and Hop Skull designs. Please remember to bring cash and/or plan for an onsite ATM visit.
As you can imagine, it takes a vast village of volunteers to make the Bend Brewfest awesome. This year we are anticipating between 1,200 – 1,400 people stepping up to do the job. The Bend Brewfest is grateful to give back to the community. A portion of event proceeds will be supporting the Deschutes River Conservancy‘s mission to restore streamflow and improve water quality in the Deschutes Basin.
Local beneficiaries also include the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon who have been providing mentoring services for over 16 years.
