Art In The High Desert returns with new artists from across North America. 

Art lovers are flocking to Bend this weekend as Central Oregon’s Premier juried Art & Craft Show, Art in the High Desert returns August 26th – 28th bringing more than 110 nationally acclaimed, hand-picked, visual artists to the Old Mill District. Admission is free with hours 10am – 6pm on Friday and Saturday and 1pm – 4pm on Sunday.

Now in its 9th year, Art in the High Desert is consistently ranked in the top 25 juried visual shows (out of 600+ in the nation) for quality of art and sales. It’s no wonder that the event draws art lovers and buyers from all over the region. With a wide range of price points, Art In The High Desert boasts 15 forms of media, featuring original art made by the artists, representing 28 States & Canadian provinces.

Let’s Talk Art! Is a special event offering open to all AHD participants on Saturday, August 27th at 11a and 2p. Located at the Artist Hospitality area at the North end of the show, Let’s Talk Art is a series of lively conversations between artists about creative inspiration, personal journeys and the importance of art in everyday life. Moderated by Katrina Sarson, host of OPB’s Oregon Art Beat, each conversation will include a salon of diverse artists sharing stories with audience participation.

Previous attendees have the opportunity to see new works by familiar and new artists–this year Art In The High Desert 60 artists that were not in the 2015 show.
