Thanksgiving Day fun run raises money for local nonprofits

Come celebrate the Turkey Day spirit with the iconic I Like Pie Run in the Old Mill District and help raises money for NeighborhImpact and Girls on the Run on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28 at 9 a.m.

Oh, and earn some pre-Thanksgiving feast pie.

Participants can choose from an untimed 5K community run/walk and an untimed family-friendly loop. Both courses start and finish at the Old Mill District’s Center Plaza and loop around the scenic Deschutes River.

Please note that if you plan to attend, registration is required. Individuals and families of all ages and running/walking abilities are encouraged to come run/walk, bring pie, eat pie, and have fun!

 I Like Pie Run

When: Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 9 a.m.

Where: Center Plaza, Old Mill District

Distances: Untimed 5k fun run/walk and family run/walk

Cost: Participants are encouraged to bring 5 lbs of non-perishable food per person for NeighborImpact. Registration fees vary by distance and individual/family.

Course: The 5K course will take place on flat, paved pathways and trails through the Old Mill District along the beautiful Deschutes River.  The course is stroller friendly, so bring the whole gang out!

Dogs: Only service dogs are allowed at I Like Pie due to permit restrictions.
