Your holiday hustle is in full gear and the count down is on. You’re frantically trying to complete that shopping list. The holiday cards need to be signed and stamped. Your daughter needs to see the big man in the red suit about that Snow Glow Elsa doll. And that little holiday soiree you were planning needs, uh, planning.
Stop. Take a deep breath of that Noble Fir tree sitting in your living room (undecorated). Knock back an eggnog latte. Then head to the Old Mill District where you can pick up that sweater for your mother-in-law and sneak in some holiday fun and festive Bend events. Chelsea shows you how to fit it all in. Bring on the cheer!
Roving carolers singing your favorite holiday tunes. Check. Magical moments with Santa. Check. A horse-drawn carriage ride from Francesca’s to REI. Perfect. The Nutcracker ballet on the big screen. Nice! Extended holiday shopping hours to fit it all in. Hallelujah!
Pick up the Bend winter guide for an entire list of ideas and things to do to keep you entertained and jolly this holiday season. And check out the inspiration gift guide for handpicked clothing, jewelry, art, gear and goodies from most every store in the Old Mill District to make your gift giving even easier.
The holidays are also a time to give to those who are less fortunate so stop by SantaLand before December 14 to grab a name off the Tree of Joy to help someone in need and don’t forget to leave a donation – or just a tip – for your free carriage ride because all funds go to the Kids Center of Bend.
Joy to the world would be nice, but we’ll just begin in Bend. Have a magical holiday season!
