It’s Love Letter Week!
Enter to Win a Chance to Receive a $75 Old Mill District Gift Card
We’re celebrating the connections that tie us all together with a series of Love Letters. They’re fun, they’re original, and they’re from the most unexpected sources. Every month, we’ll release a new letter and a new contest. It’s a monthly reminder of what inspires us, what fills our hearts with joy, what puts smiles on our faces.

They say that every dog has its day. So let’s get to it.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a butterfly chaser, an accomplished napper or a world-class shoe
thief, I’ve got miles and miles of bone-a-fide trails for you to sniff out. All of the Good Boys and Good Girls defy convention by learning new tricks in exchange for belly rubs and ear scratches. (Psssstttt…I hear there’s an awesome skinny dipping scene for free-spirited canines. I double-dog dare you, buddy.) Go ahead, bring your favorite humans, too. There’s plenty for them to gawk at as we meander along the river together.
You, me and the promise of adventure? Now that’s something to bark about.

The Old Mill is a wonderful place to visit. The shops are great to meander through and find that special gift for a friend or family member. It is also a great place to walk about, enjoying the surroundings, nature and people. It is also a place where one can sit and just be.
Food, Fun, Exercise and Love abound around the Old Mill District. Get Moving and Enjoy!
My HAPPY PLACE…..
I love the variety of stores and restaurants. The walks along the river are refreshing and seeing families enjoying their time together is wonderful. It is a favorite place for me to be with my grandchildren.
To everyone who is heading the social distancing Mahalo. Make sure you support places like Kona Mixed Plate, they will share their Aloha at the curb.
Love the old mill
I work in the Old Mill(Free Spirit)and make a point to frequent different local businesses in the Mill. It’s important to support each other; hope to be back there soon.
Fun idea, when you are thinking about the old mill and how you miss your favorite shops, go online and buy a gift card. We wont be held captive forever and once we are able to spread the love, give gift cards and meet up for lunch, catch a movie, and go SHOPPING
I miss you old mill
Oh Boy:
Does my dog Fanny miss visiting the old mill late afternoons and evenings. When she sees her favorite security guards in their Red, Yellow and Black carts she wants to dash over to see them.
Her favorite shops: Desperado, Sweet Tooth, The Gap and she cannot wait for the new shops to open. I should mention the staff in the skate board shop love dogs and she knows it.
I greatly appreciate the Old Mill District and I know my dog does, too. We walk through it often. We can’t wait for the restaurants to open for outside dining!
We’d love to win this so our grandchildren can help us pick out toys and treats for their dog, Skye.
My dog Gus loves adventuring all around Central Oregon, including the Old Mill. He loves meeting all the friendly people and dogs and taking a dip in the river. Once he is all tuckered out, he doesn’t even mind if his parents duck off for an evening out together at the Old Mill. We are all looking forward to wandering around together again, in public! We love Bend, and know the wait is with it! In the mean time I’ll snuggle my sweet pup at home!
