Join us on Saturday, April 27 for the second annual Old Mill District Foodie Fest Chowder Cook-Off competition at Greg’s Grill on the Deschutes!
Your $12 ticket includes samples of chowder from 18 different restaurants. Plus, Deschutes Brewery will be pouring beers all day as well. Tickets will be sold at the door and there is no presale.
This is a family friendly event! There will be a bounce house on site for the kiddos and live music will be playing throughout the day.
Last year’s inaugural event raised $2,500 for the Bend Food Project and High Desert Food & Farm Alliance with just nine restaurants. This year with nearly 20 participants sampling chowder we hope to double our fundraising efforts!
This year’s participants include Boxwood Kitchen, Deschutes Brewery, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Ginger’s Kitchenware, Three Creeks Brewing Company, Currents at the Riverhouse, Brother Jon’s Public House, The Row At Tetherow Golf Course, J DUB, Level 2 Global Food and Lounge, Big Ski’s Pierogi, Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzerias, Citizen Bar & Kitchen, Johnny Carino’s, EBarGrill, Sidelines Sportsbar & Grill, Village Bar & Grill and of course the hosts, Greg’s Grill on the Deschutes.
