Breakfast, lunch or dinner, these skillet potatoes add pop to any meal
Onion, paprika, rosemary and dill add a rustic flavor to these easy skillet potatoes, which make great additions to steak dinners, breakfast hash browns or campfire meals. Thanks for the recommendation Matt and crew at Savory Spice!
Serves 6-8
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, large dice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Flat Irons Prime Rib Rub
- 1 tsp. Garlic Salt*
- 1 yellow onion, diced
Directions
Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium to high heat. Add the potatoes, stirring occasionally for 12 to 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and mix in the Flat Irons Prime Rib Rub, Garlic Salt, and onion. Cook for 12 to 15 more minutes, until the potatoes have a golden crust and are cooked through. Serve immediately!

*You can replace the Garlic Salt with fresh garlic and salt to taste, or leave the garlic out altogether for reduced garlic flavor.
