We’re holding onto the end of summer as long as possible here in the Old Mill District.
With that in mind, here’s a list of our favorite margaritas in Bend. Yes, these all make for fine happy hour cocktails, post-river treats, and Saturday and Sunday football cold snacks.

Hola!s Tamarind Margarita
1 – Hola! in the Old Mill District’s Tamarind Margarita
Sauza blue agava tequila, orange liquor, fresh lime and the tropical goodness of tamarind, topped with a homemade special Chile salt mix and you’ll find yourself in a little slice of heaven. This is a must for us when we dig into Hola!’s ceviche and nachos Cubano.
2- El Rodeo’s Grande Margarita
It’s giant, it’s delicious and it’s calling your name after a long day of floating, mountain biking or just general adulting. Yes, the fact half of the margarita is served in the shaker makes it feel like you’re getting a second drink for free.
3- Level 2’s Margarita Picante
Made with jalapeno-infused Sauza Gold tequila, this fiery beast is just the right amount of heat for adventurous souls. Level 2’s Margarita Picante also creatively uses muddle cilantro, fresh lime juice and mango puree.
4- El Sancho’s Pineapple Serrano Margarita
A little more fire, but with a pineapple twist. El Sancho’s well tequila is Sauza Silver, and it’s pretty darn near perfect infused with serrano peppers. And nine tacos.
5 – Spork’s Classic Margarita
Just three ingredients – silver tequila, fresh lime and curacao – make up Spork’s simple yet stellar house margarita. Every part of this drink shines with this minimalist recipe.
