We love summer here in the Old Mill District almost as much as rock chucks love to eat wildflowers.
Bike rides along the river, drinks on the patio, flip flops at work – we ‘re big fans of warmer temperatures and longer days.
We’re also pretty darn ecstatic about some of things going on in our favorite shops down here. From dainty bling to heartbreakingly beautiful puppy art, here’s some things to check out in the Old Mill District we’re thrilled to share:
Nashelle
Tiny Dot Stacker Rings: Tiny but mighty, we love these little gals from Nashelle, in part because you can pair them with so many other jewelry pieces. Get creative.
Bohemian Soul Hoop Earrings: A single Herkimer diamond is placed in Nashelle’s natural claw setting. Locally designed hoop styles? Yes please. Available in both sterling silver and gold options.
Hello Sunshine
Llamas and alpacas! Everyone’s day is a little bit better with these impossibly cute llama and alpaca stuffies. Brighten someone’s day with some alpaca awesomeness or llama love.
Puppy prints: No one captures the pure joy of puppyhood quite like artist Cathy Walters. We want all of these prints!
desperado
I’m With the Band Headbands: One of our favorite way to amp up our go-to summer outfits is with these fun and funky headbands. And yes, we love to wear them to shows at the Les Schwab Amphitheater!
Tumalo Art Co.
Sarah B. Hansen’s artwork: Tumalo’s featured artist this month, Hansen is showcasing a collection of semi-abstract mixed media paintings, as well as a series of bird paints. Hansen began a bird life list in 1979 and has committed to painting one bird a week.
