Free Spirit, which plans to offer yoga and fitness classes for adults and bouldering, slides, a ball pit and a ninja obstacle course for kids, is set to open January 2019 next to Orangetheory Fitness and Athleta.

“Free Spirit is fun fitness for everyone,” says owners Rachel and Seth Augustine, who come to Bend after owning and operating a successful yoga studio in San Francisco. “Finally, in Bend three will be a place where adults can get their yoga and fitness fix while their kids stay healthy and active in our indoor climbing, play, and ninja obstacle facility.”

Free Spirit’s Grand Opening Party is set for Saturday, January 12, with a free yoga class led by Rachel from 3 to 4 p.m. Open play and good times will follow from 4 to 6 p.m.

“We chose the Old Mill District because it feels like the heart of Bend,” Seth Augustine adds. “We wanted to establish our business in a place of natural beauty and thriving community where all the residence of Bend and visitors could enjoy our unique and fun facility.”
