Halloween in the Old Mill District is coming back, so where our ghouls at?!

Families and Halloween fans throughout Central Oregon it’s time to channel the spirit of the bewitching season – start designing your costumes, pets too – and join the Halloween fun in the Old Mill District Tuesday, Oct. 31!

Come celebrate all things ghoulishly delightful at the Old Mill District during our annual family-friendly Halloween party Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. District shops will be handing out candy and various treats for little ones. It’s a district-wide party that, in addition to loads of sweet treats, includes a pet costume contest with celebrity judges from the Humane Society of Central Oregon, Central Oregon Aerial Arts show, art projects, selfie stations, the famous witches paddle, and more! Halloween in the Old Mill District is safe, fun, free of charge and something the whole family can enjoy.

HSCO Howl-o-ween Pet Costume Contest Details:
Location: Main Plaza by GAP/walking bridge
Registration open 4 to 5:30p at the Humane Society booth
5:30p Judging begins
Free to enter, donation graciously accepted.
All companion animals welcome. Ensure that your pet is comfortable in their costume, and temperature sensitive species are kept warm.

HSCO booth will be giving out treats for dogs and cats from 4 to 7.

Family-friendly Halloween party in the Old Mill District

Additional Halloween festivities taking place in the district include:

  • Free Spirit Yoga + Ninja + Play Halloween Hang Out and Open Play Friday, Oct. 27. The folks at Free Spirit are offering Toddler Open Play periods in the morning, and open play for the slightly older kids in the afternoon. Dress up your little ones and bring them to the super-cute toddler costume contest! They’ll have a festive photo backdrop, fun Halloween music, Zombie Tag and a candy give away! Plus, join the raffle for your chance to win gift cards from Sisters Coffee, Wild Child Toys and Sweet Tooth Candy!
