March 4-6, 2022 MUSE UnConference returns for their 10th annual gathering to amplify the voices of thought-leaders and change-makers locally and beyond, including civil rights icons Angela Davis and Ruby Sales, Oregon Poet Laureate Anis Mojgani, and leaders from local organizations The Father’s Group in Bend and The Helpers in Warm Springs. Offering both in-person and virtual options, everyone is invited to join and be inspired by the art and activism of individuals who are creating positive change through conversations, keynotes, workshops, art installations, films and performance.

Friday, March 4th 5:30-6:30pm – Art Exhibit + Artist Talk with April Bey at Scalehouse Gallery
Saturday, March 5th 1:00-4:00pm – Main Program at Tower Theater
Saturday, March 5th 6:00-8:00pm – Film Premier at Tower Theater – ‘A Reflection of Self’
Sunday, March 6th 10:00-11:00am – 7 Generation Workshop with Acosia Red Elk at COCC
March 4th-6th Youth Public Art Project in Tin Pan Alley downtown Bend
VIRTUAL Programming:
Two mindfulness practices led by Halie Devlin to be utilized in your own space and at your own pace.
Community Conversations, a 3 Part Series, to be listened to and learned from in your own space and at your own pace.
Art as Activism Workshop will be led by Maimouna Youseff (aka: Mumu Fresh) . This will be a virtual workshop but facilitated live. In your own space but at a specific time, Sunday, March 6th, from 1:00-2:15pm.
Livestream of Main Program + Film Premier at Tower Theater will be available to enjoy from the comfort of your home.
Bend-based World Muse, which puts on the Muse UnConference, is a non-profit organization inspired by change-makers committed to providing programming that’s accessible and inclusive. They believe in the enormous potential of individuals to create positive change not only in their own lives, but in their communities and across the globe. World Muse offers events and programming to support those working as catalysts for change and to amplify their voices within our local community and beyond.
