Boxwood Kitchen, which developed a rabid fan base for its delivered meals out of Bend’s Widgi Creek Golf Course, is now a full, upscale yet casual lunch and dinner restaurant in the Old Mill District.
This summer’s menu includes some of the crowd favorites — like the Boxwood Burger with bacon jam or the half rack of Baby Back Ribs — along side some fresh lighter fare perfect for summer patio dining — think Grilled Shrimp or a crispy Thai Salad. And all summer, they’ll be rotating their 5 craft beer taps with pFriem beers — from a Hazy and a Czech Lager to a Belgian Style Blonde Ale and more. Boxwood’s Old Mill District restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily with a variety of libations available to sip on from craft beer to wine and several speciality cocktails. Stay awhile with their complimentary WiFi.
The restaurant is located in the space adjacent to the former Jimmy John’s on the north end of the Old Mill District and features chef Eric Rud. “Bend has been growing rapidly over the past several years, and we’ve watched new retail and entertainment developments popping up all over town,” Rud says. “But none of these locations offer views of the Deschutes, the iconic Central Oregon mountainscape and access to shopping, dining and entertainment, all in the heart of Bend. What more could you ask for?”
