Boxwood Kitchen, which has developed a rabid fan base for its delivered meals out of Bend’s Widgi Creek Golf Course, is now a full, upscale yet casual lunch and dinner restaurant in the Old Mill District.
Sesame-crusted tuna bowls and house-smoked lox as well as one of the best fried chicken sandwiches north of the Mason-Dixon Line, Boxwood’s delivery meals quickly became a Bend favorite after it first launched in April 2017. Boxwood’s Old Mill District restaurant concept offers dinner, beer, wine and cocktails. Enjoy dining on the outdoor patio and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The restaurant is located in the space adjacent to the former Jimmy John’s on the north end of the Old Mill District and features chef Eric Rud. “Bend has been growing rapidly over the past several years, and we’ve watched new retail and entertainment developments popping up all over town,” Rud says. “But none of these locations offer views of the Deschutes, the iconic Central Oregon mountainscape and access to shopping, dining and entertainment, all in the heart of Bend. What more could you ask for?”
