Purveyors of gorgeous indie folk melodies, Lord Huron makes their Les Schwab Amphitheater debut this fall. Led by Michigan-native Ben Schneider, Lord Huron launched onto the folk rock scene in 2012 with their first full-length album, Lonesome Dreams. Inspired in part by the novel “The Collected Works of Billy the Kid: Left-Handed Poems” by Michael Ondaatje of “The English Patient” fame, Lonesome Dreams and its layered voices, undistorted guitar riffs and classic indie reverb sounded downright cinematic, capturing the awe and wonder of open and wild spaces. The band has stayed true to those expansive and often haunting sounds with its last two albums, Strange Trails and Vide Noir. Lor Huron’s newest record, Long Lost, is set to be released May 21, 2021.
