Oregon WinterFest 2022

The Northwest’s largest festival is coming to Central Oregon this February! The 2022 OnPoint Oregon WinterFest will be packed with three days of winter fun. The massive celebration of all things winter will bring national music acts including Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, a fire pits, ice sculptures, fine art, mouth-watering food, beer, wine and so much more!  There is something for everyone at Oregon WinterFest.

Set in the heart of Central Oregon, Deschutes County Expo Center is set on over 320 acres- attracting national audiences to enjoy and showcase hundreds of events each year.

OnPoint Community Credit Union Oregon WinterFest returns – this year at the Deschutes County Expo Center for a three-day festival on February 18-20, 2022!

Join thousands of spirited locals and visitors to Central Oregon on President’s Day weekend for this festive winter staple for all ages.

Sparks Stage

Head to  Sparks Stage a new outdoor music experience to enjoy a wide array of musicians, including Oregon’s Precious Byrd and headliners Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Food & Libations

Food cart pods and mini bars scattered throughout will satiate any and all cravings. Alcoholic beverage brands will be 10 Barrel, Avid, Crater Lake and wine. Food carts span across all regions and flavors – Greek, pizza, Hawaiian, donuts, ice cream, dumplings, falafel and more!

Rail Jam Ski & Snowboard

Have a need for speed? 10 Barrel’s Rail Jam is a showcase of sick tricks by local snowboarders and skiers.

Ice Carving Sculpture Competition

If you are in the mood to rub elbows with local artisans, watch the ice carving where blocks of ice are carved into magnificent ice sculptures before your eyes! Loved by kids and adults alike, this live ice carving exhibition and competition brings ice and sparkle to the heart of the event.

Fire Pit Competition

The incredibly popular Fire Pit Competition returns with more artists than ever before. Take a stroll through the fire pit contest and exhibition where elaborate, detailed fire pits take the Central Oregon backyard staple to incredible, artistic levels. While the pits light up both the day and night, it is a special treat to see the flames burning against the cold, night sky.

For the Kids

The Kids Area will offer plenty of activities to keep your kiddos entertained with arts and crafts, bounce houses and more WinterFest’s Family Play Zone. This year, the OMSI Science Tent will offer educational activities and brainteasers to stimulate growing brains.

Kids Hot Cocoa Run

Kids Hot Cocoa Run: Saturday February 19, 2022, at Noon.

Each Prince and Princess will run from station to station, building a cup of hot cocoa that is good enough for royalty. Stations will include fun ingredients to make the perfect cup of hot cocoa. When the cross the finish line they will be awarded the final touch, the hot cocoa! This event will leave the little runners feeling like they rule the world.

Family Play Zone

Kids will enjoy playing educational games and interacting with STEM-based activities, sponsored by Lonza.

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry Science (OMSI) will bring an array of hands-on puzzles and brainteasers to challenge attendees to think both critically and creatively.

JD Platt’s K-9 Kings

Experience 11 varieties of breeds, rescue dogs and acrobatic routines with JD Platt’s K-9 Kings. This fun mix of music, costumes, comedy and audience participation has become an entertainment act like none other in the world!

WinterFest weekend: Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-5pm.

Tickets available in advance $17 per person in advance around town. Tickets are $20 at the door.
