Ice Skating in Bend

Located just minutes from the Old Mill District, The Pavilion features Central Oregon’s first and only full NHL-size ice rink. The outdoor plaza includes fire pits and a snow play area as well as spectator viewing with full-service food and beverage. Watch the action on the ice or relax by the fireplace in the elevated viewing room.

The Bend Park & Recreation District’s website is packed with information on Open Skate, Parent-Tot Skate, Family Skate, “Cheap Skates,” Rentals, Fees and FAQs.

Open now through early April: Monday – Sunday 8:30am – 8pm. (Holidays and special hours available online). Located at the Simpson and Colorado roundabout at 1001 Bradbury Way.

Seventh Mountain Resort

Plan a fun family outing twirling and spinning while ice skating at the beautiful outdoor rink at Seventh Mountain Resort.

Stay warm by the outdoor fire pits, treat yourself to a hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, take a lesson with a professional instructor or grab a bite nearby at The Outfitter Bar. The Friday night Cosmic Skate offers laser lights plus super fun tunes.

Sunriver Ice Skating at The Village

The Village at Sunriver always has fun music blasting and includes an indoor viewing area, an indoor/outdoor fireplace and a solar screening system which offers shelter from inclement weather and an open air feeling on bluebird days.

Redmond Ice Rink

Whether you’re a timid beginner or a pirouetting pro, the Redmond Ice Skating Rink will offer you and your family winter memories that will last a lifetime. Nestled next to the Redmond Chamber of Commerce in the Redmond Downtown Plaza, just across the street from beautiful Centennial Park, the Ice Skating Rink welcomes people of all ages and from all corners of Central Oregon (and beyond) to enjoy the thrill of gliding coolly across the winter ice.

The City of Redmond Parks Division and the Redmond Area Parks and Recreation District partner to operate and maintain the portable ice skating rink and provide an economical and fun activity for families to enjoy during the winter season.

SHARC Tubing Hill

SHARC Tubing Hill offers winter tubing in Sunriver. An artificial sledding surface called Neveplast provides a guaranteed thrill ride even when the snow conditions may be variable. The indoor facilities at SHARC are open year-round so you can take the kids swimming or sledding any time. Visit SHARC for hours, expanded facility features and admission options.

Wanoga Sno-Park

Wagona Sno-Park offers a fantastic sledding hill for adventurers of all ages! The sno-park has a warming shelter with picnic tables and a wood-burning fire place as well as vault toilets and plenty of parking. The Wanoga Sno-Park is approximately 12 miles from Bend and the only sno-park on the south side of the road. Be sure to bring your sno-park permit.
